Spotlight: Suzanne Errera

For Suzanne, working on North Carolina Travel and Tourism isn’t so much a job as a brand extension of her life’s story.
Not for the first time, growing up in a small town kindled a desire to see the world. From Bradford, PA, Suzanne moved to Pittsburgh to attend travel school and pursued her dream to become a travel agent. And promptly… traveled. Her favorite stops on her global wanderings? Hawaii. The French countryside. Costa Rica. Belgium.
In 1989, Suzanne undertook a different kind of migration: south to Charlotte, where her career at Mann Travels moved from travel agent to manager of the Matthews office.
In 2003, Suzanne followed her star (as well as a time-honored ad agency tradition) and quickly parlayed a receptionist gig into a career as Media/Production Coordinator (first), Production Services Coordinator (second), and Interactive Projects Manager (now), where she works on the full spectrum of interactive, including Visitnc.com, WeekendsRus.com, as well as other web projects and search engine marketing.
Family:
Son Benjamin is a perfectly normal – and terrific – 12-year old. Meaning, he’s into video games, school, and a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. Fiance Tim Baur is owner of Carolinas Home Buyers Connection, a real estate firm.
Passions:
What else? (Hint: luggage is required.) As well as the whole musical spectrum from classical to contemporary country. Suzanne also plans a November wedding. Destination: Aruba.
